Duafe "Wooden Comb" represents feminine beauty and cleanliness as well as desirable qualities of feminine goodness such as love and care. It is one of the few symbols that has a real form within the Adinkra symbology. In Twi, “Dua” means wood,” and “Afe” means comb.
